CHARLY

Nicolas, 14 years old, lives in a host family, with "old people". One day, overwhelmed by the a postcard of Belle-île-en-Mer, he runs away, to try to find this place, which fills him with expectation. He steals his adoptive parents, runs away from home and meets Charly, a young prostitute who lives in a caravan. She lets him in, and accepts this timid teenager, astray, but who will end up finding his shore.

ISILD LE BESCO
Born in 1982, Isild Le Besco is the daughter of actress Catherine Belkhodja. She has starred in many of Emmanuelle Bercot’s films, including Les Vacances (1997), La Puce (1998), Backstage (2005)… but also worked with Laetitia Masson in La Repentie (2002). Her encounter with Benoit Jacquot will be determenant for her career: Sade (2000) and L’Intouchable (2004), that received the best female revelation award at the Mostra of Venise (2006). Isild Besco goes on to filmmaking, with a remarked medium-length film: Demi-tarif in 2004, followed by Charly (2007).
