THIS IS NOT LIVING (Hay mish Eishi)
by Alia Arasoughly, Documentary, 42', 2001, 35mm, PALESTINIA

This is not Living features the portrait of eight Palestinian women, from different social and with religious backgrounds that are forced to face daily Israeli military arrogance. To go from Jerusalem to Ramallah, takes between 4 to 5 hours because of the many police checkpoints, instead of the 30 minutes normally necessary. No Palestinian is in safety, in an occupied country where each one tries to survive as well as possible.
