FLYING : CONFESSIONS OF A FREE WOMAN

In echo to the famous essay Fear of Flying by the feminist activist Erica Yong published in the Seventies, this 351 minutes series, organized in 6 chapters, was made in Europe, Asia, and South Africa. Since the beginning of humanity, never such a great number of women have had the opportunity of building their own life. The old models, called forth in this documentary, belong to the past.

 

JENNIFER FOX
Jennifer Fox is an internationally wellknown scriptwriter and who has worked in cinema for the last 25 years. She directed: Beirut, the last Home Movie (1988) her first film, which was reworded with the Grand Prix au Cinéma du Réel (Paris), and a 10 hours TV series An American Love Story. Also producer, she is at the head of projects such as: Real Stories from a Free South Africa, Cowboys, Lawyers and Indians
