With Thiago da Silva Mariz, Wallison Felipe Leal Barroso, João Miguel, Izadora Cristiani, Fernandes Silveira, Rômulo Braga

Mutum shows the vulnerability with which children observe the world of adults. Life is hard for a large family on a remote farm, especially for Thiago, a sensitive boy and eldest of five children. His parents maintain a constantly tense relationship; his father is discontent because his uncle has been sent away from the farm. Thiago and his younger brother Felipe, try to understand the behavior of the adults around them. They lie in their bedroom talking about God, without really understanding what a sin is. Thiago does his very best to be good, but the contradictory signals from his surroundings make him nervous.
