It’s been over forty years since the Algerian war. We delve straight into the daily life of a special administrative section. The old buildings of the French Army are now occupied by Algerians, which had not chosen the same camp. Today, yesterday’s enemies live together here, as best they can. Without heroism or regret, these villagers forgotten and ignored by official History, simply share with us the story of their lives.

 

NADIA BOUFERKAS
Nadia Bouferkas first obtained a bachelor’s degree in medical and social Sciences, before starting a professional training course as film editor. She then obtains a filmologie MA in Lille, De l’image de l’indigène à l’image de l’Algérien. She made six documentary films and among them: Ness (1999), which received several international, awards, Taudis les Taudis (2001), L’An prochain à Jérusalem (2002)...
