Private detective Zimin receives an assignment to keep an apartment under observation. Having safely mounted the bugs and cameras, he begins to observe a middleaged pharmacist, Irina. Step by step, he delves into her private life. Irina’s life fascinates him and fills in the emptiness of own dull life and marriage. Just when he starts wondering why it s Irina he has to spy on, he finds out that he has made a mistake and the cameras should have been placed in the apartment next to hers. What he finds in the « right » apartment is a cheap blonde and her lover, a nouveau riche man who most probably wants to secure his treasure only for himself. Zimin decides to make contact with the lonesome and melancholic Irina.

 

LARISSA SADILOVA
Born in 1963 in Briansk (Russia), Larissa Sadilova studies the dramatic arts with the VGIK under the direction of Tamara Makarova and Sergei Gerasimov, with which she begins as actress in his film Lev Tolstoï. She will continue her career of actress until in 1998, date on which she carries out first film Happy birthday, followed by With Love, Lily (2002) which was preceded in many festivals (Rotterdam, Warsaw, Brussels, Créteil) and Babysitter Required (2005). Larisa Sadilova also directs her house of Arsi- Film productions.
