An group of Indian women, travel to Blackpool by the seaside. Along for the ride are boy-crazy teens, conservative matrons, all of them caught between tradition and independence, each of them offering a singular perspective on Asian immigrant culture. Bhaji on the Beach is the first British feature written and directed by an Indian woman.
