Four 15 years old friends live in Catholic ghettos in Derry, Northern Ireland in 1984. They are full of youthful exuberance and mainly thinking of boys. When Goretti meets Ciaran at an Irish language class, a romance begins. The film explores Irish attitudes to sexuality at a time when religion was an important foundation of social behaviour.
